canoLAB 3D - Diagnostic Training Sessions

January 30, 2012

canoLAB 3D is an interactive, hands-on approach designed to help those involved in canola production recognize and diagnose canola production issues. This event is a co-hosted by the Canola Council of Canada and Alberta Canola Producers Commission.

Thanks to the University of Alberta and their greenhouse space, staff are growing several hundred canola plants and exposing them to various treatments at multiple stages.

These treatments include: fertility, insects, disease, environmental stresses, and herbicide issues. The treatments were decided upon after consulting many agronomists and professionals, making sure the issues are current and relevant.

The one day canoLAB 3D course is being offered on Monday, March 5 and repeated on Tuesday, March 6.

Come experience an event packed full of canola production information, with an amazing line-up of instructors including: Murray Hartman, Scott Meers, Ron Howard, Emile deMilliano, Jack Payne, Jennifer Otani, Steven Strelkov, Neil Harker, Eric Johnson, Lloyd Dosdall, Adam Blake, Ralph Lange, Norm Flore, and others!!

Attendance is very limited, as participants will divided into small learning groups to optimize the canoLAB 3D experience.
