Dr. Kelly Turkington, a plant pathologist with Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada provides some advice on how to assess the need for a fungicide application to control sclerotinia in canola.
Once the symptoms of sclerotinia show in a canola field its is already tool late to take action.
Having soil moisture levels near capacity put canola at risk.
